How to Use the Torque Tycoon Live Map
Use the map to identify a site's role, read its current need, trace its routes and choose a useful task. It updates from the running world and is authoritative whenever a balance value differs from the wiki.
What does a site marker tell me?
Hover for a summary and click for details. A site can show type, cargo/stock, Fill, supply quality, operating state, region, radio, Survey Station status and Settlement Trust. A Hub or City's ring is Trust; its inner fill is stored cargo. Grey or hidden sites are not yet mapped.
Settlement panels show build slots: filled is built, green dashed + is free, grey dashed is locked, and amber ! means unrest has paused the perk. Hover a slot for its effect, upgrade and current cost.
How do I plan a route?
Hover a site to show known cargo routes. Click Attention for up to five currently useful tasks, each with reason, priority and relevant cargo. Use it as a strong recommendation, not a restriction on planning a valid route yourself.
Which layers and modes matter?
Use layers to show or hide site types, regions, airfields and units. NAV keeps regions readable without coloured fills; LOG colours regions by supply state. THREATS displays direction-finding contacts, and CAL displays calibration sectors.
A raw threat cone gives direction only. With a Direction-Finding Control Centre, the map may instead show a bounded plotted fix or exact point. Terrain backgrounds help with ridge and valley navigation; simpler map styles improve symbol contrast.
