Torque Tycoon > Game Components ====== Upgrades ====== **Upgrades** are refits a Workshop sells for credits. A Workshop stands only at an airfield with a runway. They belong to the pilot and one aircraft type: an upgraded Mi-8 keeps its upgrade through slot changes, despawns and restarts and at every airfield, and it is gone only when the pilot loses a Mi-8 (see Aircraft Losses). ===== Cargo hold ===== The Workshop's upgrades add crate slots. The second stage replaces the first; they do not add up. ^ Aircraft ^ Workshop I ^ Price ^ Workshop II ^ Price ^ | UH-1H | +2 slots | 7,500 GEL | +4 slots | 12,500 GEL | | Mi-8, UH-60L | +1 slot | 20,000 GEL | +2 slots | 35,000 GEL | | CH-47 | — | — | +1 slot | 50,000 GEL | The extra slots take any cargo. Weight is not a limit, but a load above the rated payload costs flight performance (see Aircraft). ===== Buying ===== Upgrades are listed under Upgrades in the Radio Menu: * **Show my upgrades** lists every upgrade per aircraft type, anywhere. * **Buy Upgrade** appears on the ground at an airfield with a Workshop. An upgrade the aircraft already has reads //fitted//. * **Find nearest Workshop** gives bearing and range to the nearest airfield with a Workshop. Buying needs a linked Discord account. Equipment insurance keeps upgrades through a loss. ===== Related Components ===== * Aircraft * Credits * Insurance * Projects
