====== Commission a Site ======

Commissioning activates a mapped Source, Factory or Settlement with its initial cargo delivery. Until that delivery is complete, the Live Map and radio menu show the commissioning requirement instead of ordinary operating stock.

  - Select the mapped but inactive site on the Live Map and note its required cargo.
  - Find a Source or Factory that can provide that cargo and choose an aircraft that can carry it.
  - Stage and load the crate, then navigate to the inactive site.
  - Deliver with ''Cargo > Deliver'' with the aircraft at the marked construction point, exactly as for a normal [[components:cargo|cargo]] delivery.
  - If more than one crate is required, recheck the remaining requirement before the next flight.

**Success.** A commissioned Source starts producing after its final crate arrives. A commissioned Factory begins accepting recipe inputs. A commissioned Hub or City begins consuming Food, gains level 1 and can hold non-Food Reserve cargo.

The tyre at the construction point turns into a helipad two minutes after the final delivery. Take off and clear the spot before then: the helipad appears exactly where the tyre lies.

Commissioning cargo is delivered normally and is not paid from a Settlement Reserve.
